Randy came on board as our tenor in June
2008. Whenever you hear him nobody
would ever guess that this is his first time
singing tenor - EVER! Not only that,
he has a sound and style reminiscent of our
original founding tenor, Billy Smith.
Many have said that if you ever want to hear
how The King's Messengers sounded back in
the beginning, you ought to hear them now. |

Randy and Kevin sang years ago in another
quartet called "Heartfelt" in which Randy sang lead. He
had been out of the singing world for quite
some time after "Heartfelt", and it wasn't until the spring of
2008
that the burning desire to sing again rose
up in him. For a long time he was
hesitant to approach us but when he did, it
was evident that God was working in his
life. To us, it was like Randy stepped
in from out of nowhere and made the tenor
position his own. Since then, God has
blessed our singings in a way that we
could never have imagined!
Randy and his wife Katrina have two
children, Randel, Jr. (now deceased) and
Rachel, and reside in Trinity, AL. |
